What is chiropody and podiatry?

Chiropody and podiatry are branches of medicine that involve the diagnosis and treatments of various foot conditions, such as verrucae, corns, calluses, athlete’s foot, ingrown nails including sports injuries and ulcers. The treatments are designed to help prevent and correct any problems in feet, keeping people mobile and active, relieving pain and treating infections of the feet.

Jeanette really knows her stuff and demonstrates her expertise and understanding through clear and honest communication. All the jumbled contradicting information I'd been told from GPs and nurses about my feet condition were finally cleared in one informative appointment. She took one look at my feet and knew exactly what was going on and explained it wonderfully. After years of frustration, it certainly was 100% worth the cost of the appointment. I usually budget hard but this investment in health was a relief and achievement. The gentleman on reception was also warm and accomodating engaging in polite and genuine conversation.

She gave me some acupuncture which was so successful, I will be forever grateful. After over a year of physio and stretching with little results, two sessions with her and I have no trouble with it at all. I can thoroughly recommend her and she has a nice caring personality too.
